Crown Estate Scotland has delayed launching the next Scottish offshore wind leasing round by at least three months.
The agency said it will open the next round, which will be known as ScotWind Leasing, in July at the earliest.

Crown Estate Scotland will publish an update setting out further information for developers looking to apply to ScotWind in April this year.
Assuming the new round opens this July, developers will have until January 2020 to submit bids.
Successful candidates will be offered option agreements in April 2020 and a second cycle of leasing will begin in July 2021, Crown Estate Scotland said.
