Sea Installer is currently mobilizing at a port in Newcastle, ahead of the A2Sea jack-up’s expected deployment to the 573MW Race Bank offshore wind farm at the end of April.
The vessel will leave the WD Close shipyard for Hull, which is being used as a load-out port for Race Bank.
Last month, four adapter rings were fixed to Sea Installer to aid installation of the Dong Energy project’s 91 Siemens 6MW turbines.
