Pioneering offshore installation vessel Sea Power has been sold to Turkish company Karadeniz Holding.
Ship brokers GRS and Arena Offshore recently completed a deal for the semi-jackup, which was originally constructed in 1991.
The A2Sea vessel has been working in the offshore wind industry since 2002. The 91-metre vessel has four 32-metre legs and can work in waters up to 24-metres deep.
The new owner is active in a number of industries including energy.
A2Sea said it has offloaded the vessel as part of its restructuring that was announced last year and included the closure its CT Offshore cable installation business.
The wider company, owned by Dong and Siemens, continues to be subject of ongoing speculation about a potential sale to other offshore players.
