SeaRenergy Offshore and Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe have entered into a framework agreement for the provision of rescue services for offshore wind projects.
These comprise a comprehensive rescue concept, including the provision of offshore paramedics from Johanniter’s offshore rescue department in the Stedingen local branch within the Weser-Ems regional association, to SeaRenergy for offshore wind industry projects in the North and Baltic Sea.
SeaRenergy offers a wide range of consulting and engineering services, as well as offshore marine, QHSE, and personnel recruitment services for stakeholders in the offshore wind industry.
“With the offshore paramedics from Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe, we now have highly trained and experienced personnel available for deployment in offshore projects, ensuring emergency medical care and primary healthcare for workers in the offshore wind industry beyond the general legal requirements,” said SeaRenergy Offshore Holding general manager Natalia Kress.
“This allows us to go beyond the general legal requirements and fulfill our commitment to protecting the health and lives of all employees on-site.”
Johanniter’s offshore rescue department has been providing comprehensive medical services to the offshore wind industry for 10 years.
The company provides medical professionals for platforms, installation, and service vessels in the North and Baltic Sea, staffs the offshore wind park emergency control centre (NOW) of the “Gesellschaft für Maritimes Notfallmanagement” (GMN), and provides emergency medical personnel for the offshore rescue helicopters of its partner NHC Northern Helicopter.
