SeaRoc Group has won a five-year contract from ScottishPower Renewables to provide health, safety and quality management support to the 714MW East Anglia 1 offshore wind farm off the UK east coast.
The scope of the work includes the provision of specialist advisors and support staff during construction, development of management systems and delivering training to help ensure safe and efficient work on the project.
ScottishPower Renewables project director Charlie Jordan said: “Delivering East Anglia 1 will be a major engineering challenge, involving up to 3000 people working in a variety of locations.
“Safety will always be our number one priority, and SeaRoc will help us to ensure that the project is delivered to the highest standards.”
