Seaway7 has completed the full scope of its engineering, procurement, installation, and commissioning for the cables on Ocean Winds’ 882MW Moray West Offshore Wind farm.
Seaway7’s cables team installed 118km of 66kV inner-array cables connecting the projects 60 turbines to two offshore substations, as well as 15km of 66kV cabling connecting the two substations.

“This success is down to the hard work of everyone involved, especially to the Offshore Management Teams, the vessel crews and the project team,” Seaway7 said.
The cables were provided by JDR Cable Systems, and installation was based out of Aberdeen.
