Semco Maritime and software company Systematic are partnering to provide Vattenfall with a tracking system to monitor work being carried out at onshore and offshore wind farms.
The SemPam system will give an overview of all personnel and vessels working to construct and maintain wind farms in Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, UK and Sweden.
It can be integrated with Semco Maritime’s other communication systems and is built on offshore radio infrastructure, including Tetra and DMR, the partners said.
“With SemPam, the coordinator is provided with one system to handle tasks and continuously generate a full overview of locations of personnel, vessels and helicopters when working onshore and offshore,” they said.
