Seaway Heavy Lifting (SHL) has installed 24 jacket foundations at SSE’s 588MW Beatrice offshore wind farm off the coast of Scotland.
SHL has also completed installing 80 of the 86 sets of foundation piles for the project.
The company’s Oleg Strashnov vessel has been working on the jacket installation, while its Stanislav Yudin ship has been carrying out the pile work.
Stanislav Yudin will install the remaining piles and jackets, with Oleg Strashnov having completed its work on the project, the developer said.
Nexans cable laying vessel Skagerrack has also started subsea export cable installation at the project.
Beatrice will comprise 84 Siemens 7MW turbines and be fully operational in 2019.
