Dong Energy is in the final stages of commissioning its 258MW Burbo Bank 2 wind farm in the Irish Sea.
The Danish giant is expected to press the button on full commercial operations in Liverpool Bay shortly.
Burbo Bank 2 marks the first commercial deployment of MHI Vestas V164-8MW turbines.
The 32 machines were installed last year with the final turbine completed in December. First power was achieved in November
The project is a joint partnership between Dong (50%), PKA (25%) and Kirkbi (25%).
