Siemens Gamesa and Grupa Przemyslowa Baltic have signed a Letter of Intent to work together to further the Polish offshore wind industry.
National legislation from February 2021 now allows for the development of 10.9GW of domestic offshore wind capacity by 2030.

Both Siemens Gamesa and Grupa Przemyslowa Baltic are now seeking to make the most of the opportunity that the new law offers.
Partnerships like this give more certainty to planning and investment, will support local value chain development in Grupa Przemyslowa Baltic’s home market, the turbine manufacturer said.
Siemens Gamesa and Baltic Operator, a company belonging to Grupa Przemyslowa Baltic, have already been collaborating on the supply of towers for onshore wind since 2017.
