Sif has received an order to produce 14 jacket piles for the BorWin5 offshore grid connection project on behalf of Dragados Offshore.
The piles for the offshore converter station will have a maximum length of 62 metres and weigh around 4000 tonnes together.

BorWin5 will connect the He Dreiht wind farm to the German transmission network.
The project is the 15th offshore grid connection system implemented by TenneT in the German North Sea.
