Skyborn Renewables said it is cooperating with Taiwanese authorities on an investigation into alleged bribery concerning an offshore wind project off Yunlin.
A spokesperson for the company, formerly WPD Offshore, said: “We are cooperating with authorities on the investigation. Until we have further clarity, we are unable to provide any comments.”

The Taiwan Prosecutor’s Office is seeking a court order to detain several local officials following searches at 21 locations on Wednesday, according to a statement issued by the office.
The Prosecutor’s Office alleges that local officials received bribes through unnamed subcontracted manufacturers involved with the offshore wind project.
