Smulders has begun production of the final transition piece for SSE, Equinor and Vargronn’s three-phase 3.6GW Dogger Bank complex off east England at its Hoboken facility in Belgium.
A Smulders-Sif consortium has been constructing 277 TPs since March 2021 having also landed the contract for the fabrication and supply of monopiles.

Foundation installation switched to Dogger Bank B in May with completion of all three wind farms targeted for 2026.
