Spanish shipyard Gondan has completed its first service operation vessel (SOV) for Norway’s Østensjø Rederi.
The 81-metre long and 17-metre wide boat is the first SOV built in the country, Gondan said.
The vessel is one of the two that the Asturias-based outfit will supply to the Norwegian company.
They will work at Dong’s 573MW Race Bank and 1.2GW Hornsea 1 wind farms off the UK’s east coast.
