SSE has launched a new 100% renewable energy contract for businesses which will offer companies green electricity from wind farms and hydro facilities.
SSE Green will target large industrial and commercial operations in the UK, allowing them to report zero greenhouse gas emissions for their purchased electricity.
The Scottish utility will supply power matched to Renewable Energy Guarantee of Origins from wind and hydro assets from its projects as well as those of other generators. It has chosen to exclude biomass.
