SSE Renewables is scoping out potential companies to carry out work at the 520MW Arklow Bank 2 offshore wind farm off Ireland.
The company has issued two periodic indicative notices of works for turbine installation and associated services, as well as the transmission and marine works packages.
The notices aim to sound out potential companies that could deliver the work.
Turbine installation covers vessel supply, as well as installing the turbines, offshore platforms and services.
Transmission and marine works packages include on- and offshore substations, export and array cabling, foundation supply and installation and onshore wires.
Interested parties need to reply by 16.00 local time on 10 November.
A contract notice for the turbine installation work is estimated on 29 January next year, with transmission and marine works estimated to be published on 26 February 2021.
