Polish fabricator ST3 Offshore has put its fabrication yard at Szczecin up for sale with a reserve price of around €52m.
Trustees appointed as part of ongoing bankruptcy proceedings have requested interested parties submit sealed bids for the yard by 10 March, when they will be opened in a Szczecin district court.
Interested parties can view the yard and must submit a refundable deposit bond of around €5.1m to ST3 as part of the bid.
Unsuccessful bidders will have their deposits refunded.
The yard covers an area of 220,000 square metres and includes a 100,000 square metre fabrication hall and riverfront quay for loading out components.
It has supplied jacket foundations and transition pieces for recent European offshore wind projects.
The company’s last fabrication job before hitting financial difficulties was 20 suction bucket jackets for Orsted’s 450MW Borkum Riffgrund 2 project off Germany in 2018.
