4Subsea is to provide Statoil with services and research projects related to the structural integrity of fixed and floating offshore installations, including in the wind power sector.
Under the terms of the master agreement, 4Subsea will deliver a range of services, including renewables, oil and gas, digital, research and development and engineering.
4Subsea chief executive Peter Jenkins said: “Our goal is to provide great value to Statoil both now and in the future, with a digital platform that contributes to increased efficiency of oil and gas operations as well as development of new solutions within offshore wind.
“To succeed with this goal, we continuously work in the borderland between day to day operational challenges and research.”
