Subsea 7 has won a contract for the installation of the submarine cable system for an unnamed offshore wind farm off the coast of Taiwan.
The contract, worth between $50m (€43m) and $150m, is subject to a final investment decision by the undisclosed client.

Subsea 7 will record the contract in backlog once that decision has been made.
The contractor said project engineering will commence immediately at its offices in Leer, Germany and in Taipei, Taiwan.
Offshore activities are expected to commence in 2023.
