Orsted and Eversource are to host an offshore wind supply chain forum in Albany, New York state, next week for the 924MW Sunrise Wind offshore wind development off the US east coast.
The developers said the event is the first New York forum of its kind to feature tier one suppliers – sharing details on opportunities for supporting vendors and subcontractors to work on the Sunrise Wind project.
The forum, the first of three that Orsted and Eversource will host in New York, aims to match New York businesses with near-term opportunities in the offshore wind supply chain.
The forum will feature remarks from NYSERDA president and chief executive Doreen Harris, Sunrise Wind senior leadership, tier one suppliers, as well as local elected officials.
It will be held on 14 June at the Empire State Convention Plaza between 8am and 5.30pm local time.
