Swedish offshore services provider NDE Offshore has been awarded a two-year inspection, repair and maintenance contract with Ocean Breeze Energy for the 400MW Bard Offshore 1 wind farm in the German North Sea.
NDE Offshore will carry out the work with the Ocean Zephyr vessel, which is equipped with a walk-to-work system and remote operated vehicle.
The work covers topside inspection, service and installation, as well as underwater inspections of the transition pieces.
The installation work will be carried out from a second vessel called Glomar Wave.
