Danish company Welcon and HighTek-Century have signed a memorandum of understanding to build a factory in Taiwan to manufacture the Stiesdal Offshore Technologies TetraSpar floating foundation concept and turbine towers.
The partners said that the facility will build the TetraSpar floating foundation concept for Taiwan and other Asian markets.

A final agreement on the factory will be negotiated over the next few months, they added.
Construction is planned to start in 2020 and first deliveries of towers and foundations are scheduled for the end 2021.
