Cable protection supplied by Tekmar Energy have been successfully installed at the 12MW Coastal Virginia offshore wind project in US federal waters.
Tekmar Energy has supplied its TekLink cable protection systems for the project, which is being developed by Dominion Energy.

Orsted is managing the offshore portion of Coastal Virginia’s installation on behalf of Dominion Energy.
Tekmar also supplied its cable protection system for the 30MW Block Island offshore wind farm, the first commercial offshore wind farm built off the US coast, which is owned by Orsted.
