TenneT has announced the construction of a 380kV high-voltage connection in the Netherlands to deliver renewable energy from wind farms off the coast of Walcheren.
The South-West 380kV West high voltage connection will run between Borssele and Rilland and will also play a key role in supplying electricity to the Zeeland region.

The company is looking to partner with a contractor on the line for the Wintrack masts of the connection, as it continues plans to develop construction.
TenneT has announced the opening of a new information centre where potential developers can find out more about plans.
The centre in Kruiningen will open on 29 November and will be open three days a week.
