Three men have been injured after the offshore supply vessel Glomar Venture collided with a wind turbine in Dutch waters 24km off the coast of Callantsoog, the Netherlands Coastguard confirmed to reNEWS.
Two men were taken to hospital while a third took himself to the hospital independently, according to a Coastguard spokesperson.
The collision involving the Glomar Venture happened on 20 April, according to a statement from the Royal Netherlands Sea Rescue Institution (KNRM).
A KNRM spokesperson confirmed to reNEWS that the vessel collided with a wind turbine.
The rescue organisation dispatched lifeboats from Egmond, and transported crew members to shore.
The two injured Glomar Venutre crew members were transported to shore on the Joke Dijkstra rescue boat, where ambulances took them to hospital.
The KNRM life boats alongside the Dutch coast guard vessel Guardian transported the Glomar Venture to the port of Dan Helder, the KNRM said in a statement.
