TotalEnergies has joined global health and safety organisation for the offshore wind sector G+.
The company was formally approved as a Board Member of G+ at its Annual General Meeting and will have board representation and will participate in G+’s European, Asia Pacific and North American Focal Groups.
Based at the Energy Institute, G+ brings together the key players across the international offshore wind industry to drive the highest safety standards through incident data reporting, good practice guidance, learning from incidents, and safe by design workshops.
Commenting on the appointment, Energy Institute Chief Executive Nick Wayth FEI said: “G+ continues to go from strength to strength, and I’m pleased to see major industry player TotalEnergies bolster its commitment to health and safety by joining the G+ ranks.
“Bringing together the key stakeholders across the offshore wind sector, G+ continues to lead health and safety collaboration, upholding best practice and shining a spotlight on HSE performance.”
