A&P Group’s Tyne yard has won a contract to carry out repair and maintenance work on MPI jack-up Adventure.
The company said it will repair the 20,000 tonne MPI Adventure vessel at its yard in Hebburn near Newcastle. The works will take two weeks.
A&P’s business development director Ash Sinha said: “The UK’s offshore renewable energy sector is world-leading and A&P has the facilities and skilled workforce to really capitalise on that.
“Our work on this vessel gives us the perfect opportunity to establish A&P as a key player in the offshore renewables industry.”
