UK electrical contractor Correll Services has been awarded a contract by Seaway 7 to provide services to the 640MW Yunlin offshore wind farm off Taiwan.
The deal, Correll Services third in Taiwan, includes includes the termination and testing of the individual subsea composite cables as part of service teams integrated into Seaway 7’s installation crews.

Seaway 7 secured the contract for the supply and installation of export and array cables at the project in November 2018.
Yunlin will comprise 80 Siemens Gamesa 8MW turbines and is being developed by WPD.
The wind farm is scheduled for completion in December 2021.
