Fred Olsen’s foundation business Universal Foundation is to be relocated to Fredericia, Denmark from Aalborg.
The move would see the business come under the same roof as sister companies Fred Olsen Windcarrier and Global Wind Service.

Fred Olsen said it reflected a significant shift from being an R&D driven group to a full commercialised organisation.
‘This team has long been preparing for the moment when we’re ready for large-scale offshore wind development. And that moment is now”, said Universal Foundation head of business development Kristian Jacobsen.
