Vard, the Norwegian subsidiary of the Fincantieri Group, has signed a contract with an unnamed international customer for the construction of a cable-laying vessel due to be delivered in fourth quarter 2026.
The value of the contract is between €200 and €250m.

Fincantieri is one of the world’s largest shipbuilding groups and Vard regularly builds vessels to service the offshore wind industry.
