VBMS has installed its 1000th inter-array cable during its work this week on Vattenfall’s 288MW Sandbank offshore wind farm in the German North Sea.
The Dutch outfit said it installed its first inter array cables for the 30MW Thornton Bank Phase I project.
VBMS has since been contracted on several large European projects, including Walney I & II, Hornsrev, Anholt, DanTysk, Meerwind, Nordsee Ost and the London Array.
VBMS managing director Arno van Poppel said: “We are very proud of the fact that we have reached this milestone.
“With the recently signed contracts for Walney Extension and Galloper offshore wind farms, our track record consistently keeps growing.”
