VBMS is to install 33kV inter-array cables for Vattenfall’s 400MW Horns Rev 3 offshore wind farm off the coast of Esbjerg in Denmark.
The work is scheduled to take place in mid-2018 and will consist of supply, installation, CPS, post-lay burial, termination and testing of the inter-array cables.
VBMS managing director Arno van Poppel said: “This contract represents an important milestone for VBMS as we installed our very first inter-array cable for the Horns Rev 2 offshore wind farm back in 2008.
“We are very proud that we have been contracted for the Horns Rev3 offshore wind farm exactly 10 years later.”
