Danish company Welcon will deliver some of the tower sections to MHI Vestas for the 950MW Moray East offshore wind farm off Scotland.
The deal covers 70 bottom, 34 middle and 34 top sections for the MHI Vestas V164-9.5MW turbines.

Delivery will take place from the fourth quarter of this year until the same quarter of 2020, Welcon said.
Moray East will feature 100 MHI Vestas turbines.
Welcon has also been selected to deliver 14 onshore towers for Nordex for two projects in Finland and one in Ireland.
Delivery will be from August to October this year.
