German developer ABO Wind increased its earnings by 50% in the last year, generating a net profit of €7.8m.
Turnover hit more than €100m for only the second time in the company’s 20-year history.
Approximately 70% of turnover came from Germany, with 20% in France and 10% in Finland.
The company said some 175MW of new capacity is under construction.
ABO Wind chief executive officer Matthias Bockholt said: “We are awaiting further projects in Germany, France and Finland to be ready for construction soon – if all goes well then also in the UK and Ireland.”
He said that the company is prepared for changes to the planning and tendering regime in Germany next year, adding that he expected the company to perform as well in the next 12 months as the last year.
