UK peer-to-peer platform Abundance is to pay an immediate 2% return to investors in a portfolio of operational medium wind turbines owned by E2 Energy.
The 2% is in addition to the 5% annual internal rate of return over the 16-year lifetime of the investment, Abundance said.

Returns are funded directly from wind generation, supported by the feed-in tariff.
The company launched the scheme, which is its first wind investment in two years, in September.
E2 Energy currently has raised over £1.3m of its £2.9m target from the scheme.
