Alterra Power Corp has signed a 13-year power hedge agreement with an affiliate of Citi for its 200MW Flat Top wind farm in Texas.
The company said it expects the financing and partnership arrangements for the project to be completed within the next few weeks.
The project will consist of 100 Vestas V100 2MW machines is expected to achieve commercial operations in the first half of 2018.
Blattner Energy has the contract to construct Flat Top.
