Arise has sold its 105MW Fasikan wind farm in Sweden to SCA, Europe’s largest private forest owner.
The transaction covers all the shares in Fasikan Vind AB at an enterprise value of approximately SEK1.6bn (€0.14bn).
The project is sold in ready-to-build status at a share purchase price of approximately SEK125m, Arise said.
The purchase price includes a variable portion which is dependent upon how construction of the project progresses in relation to budget.
Furthermore, Arise will manage the construction in accordance with a construction management agreement.
Nordex will be supplying 15 turbines with a total nominal capacity of 105MW and the wind farm is expected to be commissioned in the beginning of 2026.
Arise chief executive Per-Erik Eriksson, said: “We are very happy to be able to divest Fasikan under current market conditions and are especially happy to do it to SCA which creates conditions for a long and successful collaboration.”
