A syndicate of three banks has provided €53m for the construction of a 35MW wind plant in Italy.
The unnamed financiers were advised on the deal by international law firm Watson Farley & Williams (WFW).
WFW said the wind farm, which is in Avellino province, is owned by a special purpose vehicle controlled by French private equity fund Ardian and Italian renewable energy provider Margherita.
The WFW Italy team advising the banks was led by finance partner Pierpaolo Mastromarini, with assistance from associate Daniele Pompei.
