BlackRock Real Assets is to buy GE Energy Financial Services’ 50% interest in the 211MW Grandview wind farm in Texas.
The project, which has been operating since December 2014, consists of GE 1.79-100 turbines.
It supplies electricity under a long-term offtake agreement to an “investment grade counterparty” in the ERCOT regional transmission origination system.
Eon Climate and Renewables owns the other 50% stake in the project.
