Blade manufacturer TPI Composites increased sales by 8.8% to $191.6m in the first quarter of 2017, compared with $176.1m in the same period last year.
The company said the increase was mainly down to increases in blades delivered from plants in Mexico and China.
However, the increase was offset partially by a decline in the average sales price of the blade models, slightly lower volumes at the company’s Turkish factory and foreign currency fluctuations.
Net income in the first three months of 2017 was also up at $3.5m, compared with $1.7m last year.
EBITDA for the first quarter of this year stood at $12.5m, up from $11m in the period in 2016.
