Blue Water Singapore is delivering the turbines for the 175MW White Rock wind farm in Australia.
Construction started in May, with Blue Water set to deliver a total of 70 2.5MW Goldwind G121 units.
The Blue Water office in Singapore is responsible for the task and, together with the offices in Shanghai and Sydney, will arrange the transport for what is the largest wind project for the company to date in Asia.
Blue Water Singapore business development manager Bjarke Nielsen said: “We will be handling the sea freight from China to Newcastle where we are also in charge of the storage.
“From Newcastle the turbines will be trucked 515km to the site where we are also involved in the discharge operations.”
