Canadian company Boralex has commissioned three wind farms in France totalling 56MW, and will complete a fourth 10MW project in the country on 1 January.
The projects are the 10MW Noyers Bucamps, 20MW Hauts de Comble and 26MW Coteaux du Blaiseron facilities in the north-east of France, with the 10MW Le Pelon project in the Deux Sevres region coming online at the start of the new year.
All four wind farms have 15-year power purchase agreements with EDF.
Boralex Europe general manager Patrick Decostre said: “These newly commissioned facilities confirm the strong development of our French operations and support responsible and rational growth.”
He added that the 24MW Sources de l’Ancre, 20MW Basse Thierache Nord and 10MW Catesis wind farms will also be commissioned during the first six months of next year.
