Lead contractor Boyd Jones has kicked off construction at the four-turbine Creston wind farm in Nebraska.
The company is tackling roads and foundations for the Bluestem-developed project with turbine erection due to start in May next year.
The EPC contract also includes underground collection systems, two substations and a transmission line. GE is supply the turbines.
Boyd Jones had earlier reported that Vestas would provide 200 of its V110 turbines but this was in error.
