BP Wind Energy North America wants to unload its stake in the 301MW Cedar Creek 1 wind project in Colorado.
BP is seeking permission to sell a 33.33% share to ArcLight Capital Partners, according to an application to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
After the sale, ArcLight will own all the Class B managing shares in the project.
BP, which developed and built the wind farm in 2007, aims to complete the deal by the end of March.
The output of Cedar Creek is committed until 2027 to the Public Service Company of Colorado under a long-term power purchase agreement.
