US supplier Broadwind Energy has won $39m in wind turbine tower and fabrication orders for production, slated for delivery in 2019 and in 2020.
The company will supply the order, for a wind farm repowering, from its facilities in Manitowoc, in Wisconsin and Abilene, in Texas.

Broadwind chief executive Stephanie Kushner said: “We are encouraged by our progress to date securing orders that will support a robust 2020 installation schedule.
“The fabrication order, which supports a wind energy repowering project, is further diversification of our customer and product base.”
