BT has signed a 15-year power purchase agreement for electricity from the 29.9MW Stroupster wind farm in the north of Scotland.
The £185m deal will see the 13-turbine facility supply the company with 100 gigawatt-hours of electricity a year.
BT general manager of power procurement Rob Williams said: “BT is a green energy pioneer and we have been purchasing 100% renewable energy in the UK since 2012.
“By 2020 we aim to be purchasing 100% renewable electricity worldwide.”
