Developer Caeli Wind is seeking investors to help build a 212MW wind farm complex in Germany.
Located strategically in North Rhine-Westphalia, the Everest project offers the opportunity to build 32 state-of-the-art turbines.
“Introducing Ready-to-Build wind farms marks a significant milestone for our platform,” said Ben Schlemmermeier, chief executive of Caeli Wind.
“Our innovative approach streamlines the development process, accelerating the energy transition and making renewable investments more accessible for all stakeholders.”
Perched approximately 600 metres above sea level with an average wind speed of 6.8m/s, Everest combines an optimal location with the latest in wind technology.
The project is permitted under the Federal Emission Control Act (BImSchG) and includes community agreements and EPC contracts with Enercon and Vestas.
Finalising investments is targeted for June 2025, with commissioning slated for 2026.
“Everest exemplifies how Caeli Wind is accelerating the energy transition by simplifying renewable energy investments,” Schlemmermeier added.
“This flagship project underscores the confidence in our platform and the future of efficient, scalable, and digital wind energy development.”
The launch of ready-to-build asset classes aligns with Caeli Wind’s mission to expedite the global energy transition by making renewable investments straightforward and efficient.
Using a unique AI system, Caeli Wind leverages geodata and advanced analytics to identify high-potential sites and connects developers with investors, streamlining critical steps in wind energy development.
