Cubico Sustainable Investments has refinanced its £125m UK portfolio of operating wind and solar plants with funds from National Australia Bank.
The financing, which allows the inclusion of future projects, involves over 90MW of operating renewable projects.
Included are the 19MW Hadlow and 32MW Broxted solar parks in Kent and Suffolk, as well as the 21MW Middlewick and 20.5MW Wandylaw onshore wind farms in England.
Cubico is a renewable energy and water investor owned by Santander, Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan and the Public Sector Pension Investment Board. Its legal adviser on the transaction was London-based Watson Farley & Williams.
