The Danish Energy Agency has opened a consultation on price increases for electricity produced by wind turbine test sites other than the Osterild and Hovsore centres.
Test turbines that secured commitments in 2018 would receive 11 ore (€0.015) per kilowatt-hour. A pool of up 10MW has been allocated for 2018, the DEA said.
In 2019, when there will be a 25MW test pool available, the price is yet to be determined but will be based on the average of winning bids in a technology-neutral offer in 2018, DEA added.
It said the purpose of the scheme is to support and strengthen the conditions for testing turbines in Denmark.
