Vestas is to supply Longroad Energy Holdings with turbine components totalling 600MW for wind farms in the US.
Longroad said the projects will qualify for the federal production tax credit, if they are placed in service before the end of 2020.
The projects will be from Longroad’s own pipeline, as well as ones currently owned by other developers, it said.
Longroad chief executive Paul Gaynor said: “Given the increasingly competitive position of wind power in certain markets, this is an important step in creating growth opportunities for Longroad.”
